I lost 27 pounds in 12 weeks
I struggled to lose weight for years. Even though I was a serial dieter, somehow I could never stay slim. I tried diets with packaged foods and meals like Jenny Craig and The Zone, as well as high-protein plans. Inevitably I'd get discouraged, quit, regain the weight - and sometimes I'd put on even more. I was so frustrated that I committed to a serious exercise routine. But even after months of working out with a trainer, it became clear that exercise alone wasn't going to be enough. That was a difficult reality to face.
